Fixed. Sorry, Kritika. When I look in the little edit box it is all just one jumbled html mix.

I'm excited to see how much I read of both.

Hayley (mrsjohnson1985) | 951 comments General question - Would a songwriter/musician be blue collar?

message 159: by Lisa Kay, Tinker Bell (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments What's his background, Hayley? Does he have a degree in music? Is he a big name/successful?

message 160: by Hayley (new)

Hayley (mrsjohnson1985) | 951 comments LK - No, he's just a songwriter for his and his brother's band that is kind local, yet sort of well-known. If that makes sense? He plays the guitar for the band at the end of the book & sings too. I was thinking Blue Collar because he isn't a big named person.band...

message 161: by Lisa Kay, Tinker Bell (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments Yes, I'd go with that.

Okay, I finally updated - carefully. LOL! Instead of just hit or miss.

And, yup, White Collar is winning... for me, anyway.

I'll click on everyone soon and see what is what. It takes about an hour for GRs to update the Home Page Challenge.

Update

Sunday Group Update!

Blue Collar: 87

White Collar: 83

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) | 13013 comments It's really pretty even at the moment. I am at exactly equal which surprised me - I thought I read more blue collar heroes.

This will be great to track throughout the year.

message 173: by Lisa Kay, Tinker Bell (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments It is pretty even. I'm very interested in seeing what I do and what the group does.

Sher❤ The Fabulous BookLover (thefabulousbooklover) | 254 comments More blue collar?! Hmm that's interesting. I'm 7/3 right now with white collar in the lead.

Sher❤ The Fabulous BookLover (thefabulousbooklover) | 254 comments I tried to update my entry by adding more books but it completely erased by previous books and goals. Do I have to add a new bookshelf name when I update my entry?

message 176: by Lisa Kay, Tinker Bell (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments Share wrote: "I tried to update my entry by adding more books but it completely erased by previous books and goals. Do I have to add a new bookshelf name when I update my entry?"

No, you shouldn't need to update the bookshelf each time, Share.

Let me take a look.

message 177: by Lisa Kay, Tinker Bell (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments Share, you have two books shelves for White Collar:
white-collar-heroes
whit-collar-heroes
The first has 8 books on it and the second has 0. I'm betting the second is now in your "Enter a shelf name for this challenge:" field. Just copy the first one above and paste it in. That should fix it.

message 178: by R.C. (new)

R.C. Matthews (rcmatthews) | 271 comments How do I update my entry? When I click update status, it asks me how many books I want to read for the challenge and to give it a name. I read a blue collar worker novel. Or at least I assume a sheriff in a historical is blue collar?

message 179: by Lisa Kay, Tinker Bell (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments
R.C., you do NOT need to go into the Home Page challenge each time you want to add books. All you need to do is 'tag' the book with your designated shelf.

The name of my shelf for "Blue" Collar is challenge-2015-heac-blue-collar - as you can see below:

Close Up:

message 180: by Lisa Kay, Tinker Bell (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments Be sure you have a read date entered. If you have a lot of books to add at once, try Batch Editing. If you want to 'tag' with your shelf as you finish a book, and you have a lot of different shelf names, try using Sticky Shelves to put your challenge shelf near to the top of your drop-down.

K I fixed it, thanks Lisa:)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 136 comments Lisa Kay wrote: "It is pretty even."

Wait! Wait! I still need to backtrack my read books. It's gonna skew things little :P

Question (you know it can't go without at least one):
If I'm reading m/m and both collars are in it, should I put book on both? :P

message 184: by Karen ♐ (new)

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) I knew I read more white collar heroes so I think I may have guessed correctly. Right now, I'm at 2 BC and 7 WC.

Nikki ♥ | 2103 comments I just finished All That Glitters by Linda Howard and the hero is a billionaire and attends business meetings. It really never said what he actually did. Would this count as white collar? Maybe a business man?

message 187: by Pamela(AllHoney), Fairy Godmother (new)

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) | 14528 comments sounds like white collar if he's a billionaire and business man.

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 136 comments I have another question :)
Are we going by one-time thing? Read each job only one? For example if I read book with CEO, I'm not tagging another CEO anymore?
