Im in UK but would be happy to contribute a poem?
Hi, I am the author of my true YA coming-of-age memoir, Brownsville Bred: Dreaming Out Loud set amidst the deteriorating backdrop of Brownsville Brooklyn, NY. The novel was recently named a quarterfinalist in Publisher's Weekly BookLife Prize. Prior to it being a novel, it was an awarded stage play. I will be performing a portion of the stage play, reading from the novel as well as talking about my adaption of it as a novel.
