Read-A-Book Everyday Reviews!!! (goodreadsreviews325) | 9 comments Hello friends! I started a book about a year ago and got about five chapters in before life became too busy. I recently was laid off from work due to COVID-19 so I was able to resume it, however, I am eight chapters in, with 20,248 words and I need some motivation. I am looking for a reader or two just to tell me their thoughts and perhaps ideas on what they would like to happen next. I'm not sure if it's writers block or what, but I would really like to finish it as I think it's a great story.
I have self-published two other books several years ago under the pen-name Anastasia Dangerfield.
Anyways, here is a rough description of my book if you're interested in reading the 8 Chapters!

A deadly virus broke out over a year ago that turned people into angry, zombie-like villains that we call vampires. The only people left are those that are immune to the airborne virus like me and my friend Sarah. My mom was working at the hospital the night before those two men came to our door and told us that she was dead. I don't believe them. If I'm immune then she might be too and I've set out on a journey to find her. The only problem is that we have to travel through the underground tunnels of Las Vegas to get past the barricades, and I'm afraid we won't make it without running into some vampires along the way.
Luckily, in the worst situation possible, I end up with a friend among my enemies and he is more human than the humans that have us slaved for their experiments while looking for a cure. Now all we need is to find a way to escape and see if we can find my mom and a cure.

*Note: ironically enough, I did start this book & whole idea before the Coronavirus was even a thing, but I will understand if nobody wants to read it because of the similarity!
