Book title in profile name

Hi,

Whenever someone opens my profile or I want to share it, my name says 'Marthe Verelst ( of Het Sweek zeer korte verhalen boek - #microdroom en #microlicht (zeer korte verhalen, #1)'. This is really bothering me, so I would like to know if it's possible to change that? I'd rather not create a new account but I probably will if that's the only solution...

I corrected the title and it now reads (of Het Sweek zeer korte verhalen boek - deel 2), which is a little shorter.

Unfortunately it cannot be deleted completely. The system is programmed to pick the most popular/shelved title on your list and add that to your name.

Creating a new account is not going to make a difference.

It mostly bothers me because I only wrote one story in this book, so I'm not really the author - I just contributed... but I understand.

You could send a suggestion to support that it only include works for which the author is primary.

I hope they don't do this. When I go to Books by ______ I like seeing books for which the author is a contributor.

We're just talking about the byline, where it says "[Name], author of..."

Go to an author's profile and look at the header on your browser window.

Ah. Well, there is no reason to ever do that. If I want to go to a tab I have open, a quick glance will tell me what that tab is about.
