This is one prompt I think I'll check off toward the end. I own so many books that I haven't read yet, I will use what I read to check off other prompts first.
This will be the easiest prompt to check off, and could be checked off many times over as my library is full of books I have yet to read!
I have just finished Tully by Paullina Simons. I bought this book years ago. I attempted to read it not long after but really struggled to get into it.I'm glad I had another go because this time I got through it and really enjoyed it. I both loved and hated Tully the character which I think marks one of the characteristics of a brilliant writer.
I read "Éclair Murder (Patisserie Mystery #2)" by Harper Lin, I have the first four books, read the first and then had too many other books to read. Although I liked this cosy read I need to get back to the rest of the series.
My husband said I cheated on this prompt since the book I read is technically his, but as I informed him, when we got married all of his books became my books. So I read Mistborn: The Final Empire. It was really engaging and am entertaining read. It told the story of a group of thieves who team up to overthrow a tyrannical leader. The editing left a bit to be desired, but I'm hoping that was just my copy.
I read The First Desire by Nancy Reisman. I have so many books that I just used the next book in my piles!
I have a couple books that I want to read that I can't fit into other categories so I'll choose one of those

I received The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky for my birthday from a friend a little over a decade ago. I had honestly forgotten that I had read this book in January (before I started the challenge), but I find it very fitting for this prompt as it is probably the book I have owned the longest without reading. I know I am in the minority here, but I actually hated the book, so maybe it was for the best that I waited until I could no longer remember who gifted it to me. If I hadn't been stuck at a friend's with nothing else to read and a bout of insomnia, I probably wouldn't have finished it, and it would remain forever owned but not read.
