History: His mom, Alex Dewinter, was a marine gunnary sergeant that, upon an honarable discharge, worked as a lifegaurd. She was going aroun dher usual duties, when a guy starts drowning. Without hesitation, she jumped into the ocean and started swimming towards him, heedless of uer own safety. When she reached him, he pulled her under the water, and, to her suprise, could breathe. Posiedon explained who he was, and they had a kid together. After about a year, he visited and saw his kid. After spending some time wity him, he realized that this kid, although much more advanced than other people, was completly mortal. As Jake grew up, Posiedon realized that he had certain advantages over water, and could see through the mist auite clearly, that he had no special or godly abilities. Even though he wasnt a demigod, he atracted alot of maonsters starting at a very early age. As a seventh birthday present, Posiedon gave him an enchanted crossbow that always had an arrow, and an axe that was named Reef Bringer. He never found out about camp half blood until his dad brought him there to train, even though he wasnt a demigod.

History: He was born into a royal family, like Jackson, but this royal family ruled a long time ago before they disappeared. They now live in a mansion with a huge land as their properties. pax is a fairly well built person, healthy and fit but in no way could he be described as muscular. he has dark toned skin and caramel brown eyes, and pax is rarely seen without a soft smile gracing his features. compared to the average male his age, pax could be described as being on the short side with his roughly 5’ 7” stature.

~ pax is a soft spoken man who prefers quiet peace to loud chaos. often acting as voice of reason, pax can sometimes be frowned upon for his shyness and avoidance of trying new things. paxton likes it when things stay the same, sudden changes causing him great anxiety and panic. studious to a fault, paxton could spend hours nose deep in a book and would probably have more fun with that than going out to movies, playing sports, or generally anything requiring him to interact with others. that’s not to say he’s unfriendly, quite the opposite, pax loves people! due to his general timidity, though, pax tries to circumvent huge social events. pax isn’t brave, but he has heart and a willingness to do what needs to be done to keep the peace between people. problem solving has always been pax’s strong suit, as well as being an almost therapeutic and calming presence in tense situations.

history pax has had a fairly regular life, despite how busy his father is and being raised mostly by his uncle, who often acts as a parent, jonathan. aaron works as an on-base, military psychologist for the airforce and because of this he wanted jonathan to house pax. much of paxton’s life was spent playing by himself, watching (read: laughing) old movies with uncle jonathan (or uncle joe, as pax called him), and being homeschooled. as a child, for whatever reason, paxton absolutely could not handle being in spaces with other people. over time he grew out of it, and now pax goes to a highschool and has learned to react less panicked when in chaotic situations (he still prefers small groups to big ones, though). pax visits his father when he can and just two years ago learned who his mother was, despite going to camp half-blood for twice that amount.

She has olive skin that has obviously been through some trauma, the scars and burn marks along her back, shoulders, and arms tell a story of hardship. Hope is skinny and mostly bone and muscle, not much fat or softness to make her seem gentler. Hope is tall, roughly 6' and likely will grow a couple more inches before stopping. Hope wears glasses but they're a fairly new thing to help with her farsightedness. Mostly the plastic frames obscure her eyes which are a deep brown, almost black.

* Hope has been many people, but rarely has she had the freedom to be herself. As a child of Hermes, Hope is no stranger to travel, if anyone knows how to travel fast and under the radar, it's her. Hope is cunning and quick witted, but lacks academic smarts which is something she continues to regret. Hope is a slow learner when it comes to academics but picking up information and hands on skills has never been a problem. Hope may not be a genius by any standard, and she may not have stepped foot inside a school since she was 12, but Hope knows words. Like Hermes himself, Hope is skilled in the art of deception and loopholes and does what she needs to be done to survive. Hope's biggest regret is not having friends, often times putting herself before others because that's the way she's gotten by for years. Secretly, Hope is very passionate and driven, the type of driven that takes an army to beat down. If you give her a challenge she will be hard pressed to give up. Criticism will fall on deaf ears due to Hope having enough confidence for five people, and enough stupidity for ten. She's a risk taker and loves a good thrill, at the end of the day, though, all Hope wants is stability and safety. •
history // {TW: abuse} Hope's start is pretty familiar. Like many children before her, her godly parent had dropped her off and vanished, never to be heard from again. Except, unlike many other demigods, Hope would never meet her mother. She stayed with her mother for maybe a few months before it all went to hell, with her mother being deported and Hope being put into the system. After a couple of years Hope was adopted by a seemingly regular mortal family, raised with love by one Hunter and Je'Dan Clifton-Thomas in California. Hope lived in bliss for all of ten years, happily doing things she loved like violin, soccer, and traveling to different states with her fathers. It was a completely regular, boring day for Hope when she hopped off her bus and climbed the stairs to the family's apartment. Everything changed that day; Hope was thrown back into the system that day following the "mysterious crash" that claimed Hunter and Je'Dan's lives, though, Je'Dan's body had never been found. Two years full of abuse and bearing the weight of responsibility for too many kids in a house with parents that hardly seemed to care, Hope finally called quits after a fire started in the home. She didn't know who started it, but the stench of smoke woke Hope up from where she'd been lying by her three younger foster sisters. In a flash, she'd bundled the little ones up and rushed them downstairs and out into the yard. The two other kids were out of the house, but Hope knew her foster parents were still in there. They were lazy, volatile, and strict to the point of oppressive. Nevertheless, Hope ran back to the house to save her foster parents, which was when the roof caved.
The events from that night will never be revealed in full, since they are so fresh in Hope's mind. Hope ran after the fire, she ran and she ran and she kept running until she was across the country. By then Hope had worked out a system, and she knew the ins and outs and all the under handed moves. Hope was wholly prepared to live a life of crime, not willingly but it was all she could do given her circumstances. The satyrs that brought Hope to camp did so out of pity, and Hope made no move to stop them. She's ready to quit, ready to give up and this "Camp Half-Blood".... well, maybe it's a new start. She is blunt and rather funny sometimes but she is terribly sharp during fights. Night is also brave and loyal, willing to sacrifice to save her friends.

History:
She is an orphan living on the streets. She got adopted by Mrs Maudie who is really cruel to her. She got tortured every day because she had dyslexia and ADHD. One day, she found an Imperial Gold sword under her pillow and a note that had the address of CHB. She runs away with the sword and arrives at CHB.

Personality: She is not afraid to speak her mind, and it has often ended with her in trouble. She is very competitive, becoming very frustrated when she loses. She can be quite headstrong and strong-willed as well.

History: Mariah is the daughter of Nike and a rather wealthy banker. After her birth, she was raised to be a proper member of the upper echelon. Eventually, she grew a strong distaste of the customs and etiquette that came with her status. After a while, her father met, and later married, a woman who felt that woman should simply know their place in the family. Mariah hated her for this, and when she was 16, she ran away while her family was vacationing in California. Looking to get as far away from her controlling family, she stole her father's automobile and drove it as far as it would take her. Once she was far enough away that she felt safe, she began searching around for a place to stay and ended up stumbling across a rather interesting casino, the Lotus Casino. Upon entering, she was met with a smell of lotus flowers, and quickly forgot her worries. Before she knew it, over a century had passed, but she only felt as if a month or two had gone by. One day, while walking around the casino, she looked out the front door and saw a strange world. A voice spoke in her head and she walked outside, after a bit of convincing. Outside, she saw nothing she recognized. To her, it was a brand new world. While looking around, she saw clocks and traffic arrows, all seeming to point in the exact same direction. With nothing else to do, she followed them. She ended up following these arrows, and signs like them, across the nation, to New York, where she found the gates to the Camp. Not knowing what it meant, she entered. That was a year ago. Ever since then, she had been doing nothing but learning and training, still trying to get used to the new world she finds herself in.

Personality: Darren is extremely self-protective, meaning that he doesn’t get in relationships fast. But, he always has a crush on someone. At first, he may be perceived as cold and distant. With time, though, he will reveal his gentle nature, genuine compassion, and mystical capabilities. Just don't be surprised if it takes a while to get to know him. Darren is so obsessed with the environment, and does everything he can to try and help it. If you litter, he’ll come to your room at night and you’ll be D-E-A-D. History: Darren has been abused by his parents. He would stare at boys like a normal boy would stare at girls, and his parents would beat him for it.
