Hey! So I was thinking maybe for the August Challenge Week Winner they could suggest themes to be entered into the poll to mix it up a bit?
Also for an October challenge, I could lead a team challenge revolving around like ghost stories, horror books, spooky things, and all since Halloween is coming up
Ooh yah I really like the October Halloween idea! As for the theme I would agree but we only had one winner who won every challenge so I think for this theme the group can choice and then the winners for the next challenge week could choose the theme next time?
So then for the October challenge, I'm thinking I'll set it up like a normal readathon just with a Halloween theme unless you guys have any ideas to add on

and we're doing holiday themes in november

Hey guys! I'm going to put out the signups for the October readathon today. I'm thinking that it is going to be themed, so books need to be Halloween/fall themed, horror, thriller, supernatural, or ghost stories. I'm also going to do prompts like from the last readathon we did.

It's fine! I'm able to run this one. Actually Tessa I was wondering if you wanted to do either another Lighten TBR Challenge or come up with a new challenge for November! I realized that we haven't had the TBR challenge in a while, if you wanna do that

Oh also for the Challenge Week I’m thinking it’ll be from the 26th to the 30th. I’m also going to do a different format where I list all the challenges and what you have to do. They could use this template I’ve been thinking about Example
Challenge# 1 - Fan-art: (add your choice)
Challenge #2 - Favorite Quote (add your choice)
....
And so forth. I wanted to do this because otherwise the folder will be really crowded. Because it’s a dual BOTM and they would add which book and if they want to do both they can add the stuff for both. If they also want to do a mix or only some challenge or even some challenge for the first book and some from the other book they can do that as well
I’m still working on the template so if you guys have any suggestions on how to make it better that would be really helpful as well!
It looks awesome! Hmm so then depending on which book they are doing (or both or mixed) I guess they should label it in a different way. So if they are only doing one book for all the challenges, put the name at the top, if they are doing both, shorten the title- like just put Achilles or Queen- under the challenge with the submission next to it?

You could just ask them to label the submission, when the post it they can just put the book title there
Just call like the topic fanart, with the instructions, and ask them to say what book it is from when they post it

Have any of you guys read The Star-Touched Queen? I found a trivia for it but I don’t know if it’s just for the first book or for the full series so I just wanted to check with someone who’s read it

For the readathon would you all say that books about shape shifters should count? (do they count as paranormal things?)
