Yeah, but people may not know a certain fandom, so maybe stick with a general theme, like fruits? IDK, for my next group readathon, (we do one every month) I was going to pick fruits.
That is true, maybe we could do like summer foods or activities because it’s the summer readathon so maybe like Team Lemonade or Team Beach Party?

Sorry but I have one last quick question. Are we going to to the teams so that all the books they finish individually are all counted together and whichever team has the most books wins?
Ooo yes I love the summer idea!!
Hey I just posted all the team threads, should I send a message telling people which team they are in and that the teams have been posted?
Yep that would be great :)
Btw I love the names that you chose

So I’m making the challenge prompts list for the readathon and wanted to ask if you had any prompts that would be cool? I have 10 right now.
I was also think that I could do maybe a “completed books” thread that way it’s easier to see how many books from each team there are at the end
I’m think of making a thread for that called completed books so they can put the title of the book and what team they are from, it should be up by tomorrow

Maybe there could be some summer themed ones? Or like a "read a book relating to your team name" type thing?

Quick question- if someone completes one of the challenge prompts, would they record the book in both the challenge prompt section and the books finished, or only the challenge prompt thread?
Okay can you tell me one more time who gets recognized as a winner in the lighten tbr shelf challenge?
Last time we did the top three people who read the most books (like 1st place goes to the person with the largest number and so on, if more than one person had the same number there could be ties) and also a winner who read the largest variety of prompts
I was wondering if for the challenge week did we want the winners to choose a theme as well or have the group choose a theme and the winners choose the books?
Thanks Tessa!
Yeah let the group choose the theme and the winners choose the books :)
Or if you want the winners could choose the different themes to be entered into a poll and the group chooses the books

Ooo yes good idea! That way everyone can easily see how many books they have read as a team
So you know how the challenge weeks have low participation? We could make one of the prompts ‘participate in at least one day of the challenge week’ and maybe even do ‘if your entire team does then it counts as 2 books more?’
Hello!
So I was thinking I would put out a spot to suggest August BOTM themes today- also, since me and Tessa were like pretty much the only people who did June's challenge week, do you all think we should do book suggestions that way, or just open it to the whole group?

Ok I'll put out the theme suggestions now
Ok great the theme suggestion thread is out now and I think I put that it would close around July 19th (?) so then after the theme is chosen everyone can suggest books
Okay so for the team challenge week thing, do individual members AND the entire team count as a book? For example, if there’s 5 people in the team and they all did it, that’s five points, or 2 points, or seven points? Hope this makes sense. Also, for the same thing, can we count out members who haven’t participated?
I would say seven points if there are five and yes, if members aren’t participating then you can count them out
Hey so I was thinking we could start the Challenge Week a week earlier rather than the last week of the month and then close entires on the 31st that way people have two weeks to do the challenges and there is more time for more people to join. What do you guys think?
