Zack's phone rang again.

He checked it. "Sorry." He answered. "What is it?"

He bit his lip. "One sec." He put the phone on hold. "This guy wants me to do a job."

[Elizabeth]

"Go on." Erin told him. "There's nothing else you can do." She said, sitting on the couch. She'd figure this out.

"You sure?"

[Elizabeth]

She nodded. "Go on. If you can help someone go."

"Alright." He gave then each a quick hug and left.

"I'll be right there," he said to Jake as he walked out."

She hugged him back, watching him go.

Zack looked at her quickly. "What makes you say that?"

Erin also looked at her, frowning.

"She's just always got somewhere else to be. She continually checked the time and just...disappeared."

"That doesn't mean anything," Zack was quick to point out.

"Where does she have to be?"

"I dunno. Why don't you just ask?"

Erin nodded in agreement to Zack.

"Because she's gonna lie."

Zack's phone rang.

"If someone needs healing, can I take it? I need a distraction."

"Yeah, okay." He answered.

She watched.

"I'll send my sister. Same power."

Myr smiled

He hung up and gave Myr the address

He looked at Erin. "So what've you been up to?"

"Besides getting attacked? Not much. What about you?"

"A couple jobs." He shrugged his massive shoulders. "Met a guy who was illusioned as an old man."

[Elizabeth]

"He had to have known that that wouldn't work. no one is old anymore."

[Breanna Joy, TREMENDOUS]

He shrugged. "It was pretty realistic. Turns out the guy could manipulate "the void"--" he made air quotes and used a dramatic voice "--to do whatever. He was talking about how it was hard to make nonweapon stuff. Crazy."

[Elizabeth]

"Sounds crazy. what did you think first when you saw an old person?"

He laughed a bit. "I was like, what the heck?! So that's why I sat down and talked to him.))
