Switching from Author to Private Account

Recently, I've received a lot of spam likes when I shelve or finish reading books. This makes me want to switch to a private account so only my friends and contacts can see my profile. Since I have an author page, I cannot switch my settings to private. Is there any way to separate my Goodreads account (all my shelved books, etc.) from my author page? I do not want to delete the book I wrote from Goodreads, but I want to be able to separate my original Goodreads account from my author page, even if that means deleting my author page. Thanks.
