For the life of me, I couldn’t understand why no one told him Nicholas had a sister! That was one of the surprises that confounded me.
And, that Crispin committed suicide? Again, who forgets these kind of details?!?

I was surprised but thought maybe it was because discussing people taking their own lives was considered taboo??
Henrietta was the one who forgot to tell him about the sister. That made no sense but in her defense, she thought he’d known about the family.
Knowing Crispin committed suicide begged an answer as to why...that was too important to omit to someone trying to investigate a crime.

Crispin committing suicide. He had already been told how close Crispin was to Nicholas. Then later learning that Crispin had a relationship with Chantal. That would have easily explained Nicholas's rage the night in question.
