Yes, their youth was completely ruined. What a shock that the real Dorian survived the mass grave and the lye....
It was a high point of the book for me, knowing that Dorian recognized him and was finally relieved of the guilt he had been carrying all these years for his death.
I LOVED this scene and it hit me emotionally. I had to rewind and listen to it again and then read it again in the eBook. I don’t think I’ve seen Dorian get this emotional before.
I loved this scene too. I had to back up the audio to make sure I heard it correctly...lol I agree that this was a very emotional scene. I was so glad that this gave Dorian the peace he needed.
I agree that it gave Dorian peace and it also lifted the burden of guilt he had carried all these years because he was the target and Ash ended up being the victim.
A wonderful scene for both Ash and Dorian. It was interesting that Ash almost immediately put his trust in Dorian even though he still didn't remember him. It was almost instinctual memory.
