Are any of you having trouble with mail delivery? I ordered Christmas books weeks ago. The USPS sent me an email telling me they are having serious delays in the Philadelphia distribution center. They say it is because of Covid. 🤔🤷‍♀️🤪 Things get crazier by the day!

I'm so excited! My mom is getting her hair done this morning at the salon right next door to the thrift shop, which means I will have plenty of time to browse the books!

We also need to do some errand running, as they have just forecast snow for Monday and then a major snowstorm for Wednesday and Thursday. They say the Wednesday storm will be measured in feet, not inches! Gosh, how I wish they were booking rocket trips to the moon this weekend! LOL!!! 👨‍🚀👩‍🚀🚀🌛

🤣 Well, it's all relative! 61 feels chilly to me in the Fall, but not in the Spring. And I know that once I start wearing my coat, I'll become more sensitive to the cold! 😂

The book sale was great! I got a whole tote bag full of Christmas books and history books. I also got a great Bible study book on the life and teachings of Jesus, and a one-volume encyclopedia about The Bible. The Bible study is timely, as it begins with the birth of Jesus. I also got a nice potpourri pot, which I'm already using to fill the house with the scent of Christmas spices.

We have had very dense fog all day. It never lifted, so driving was rather treacherous. I couldn't see traffic lights until I was right on top of them. We're still under a dense fog advisory tonight.

I'm back!! A tone of snow and ice came sliding off the roof Sunday afternoon and took our internet cable with it! The technician couldn't come out till this morning. It's happened once before...just part of winter in Maine! 😂

So glad you're back Meg! I've missed you and Dorothy! I'm pleased that you are back online again! We are expecting a major nor'Easter here tomorrow and Thursday. The forecast says we could get up to 18" of snow. I'm praying it doesn't get too bad and that we don't lose power. I can't handle shoveling that amount of snow anymore and my mom is 82 years old, so shouldn't be out in it. She can be stubborn and won't listen to me. I've been praying about it for days.🙏

Well, it would appear that I'm not going to get any flowers this winter either! 🥺 My little morning glory seedlings were growing so nicely, but I had to move them away from the window today because it's so cold they'd freeze.
