We don't have snow. I mentioned to Meg that
about three years ago, we had a sugar dusting
of snow- it was enough to make a snowman
for the mailbox.

I honestly don't know...my last winter in IN was 2013, so it's been a little while... We probably will get snow sometime this month, not much. We get the most snow in January-February.

I think we will use it all this winter. Our house isn't insulated at all, so we really go through the wood on those 10 below zero days when the wind is blowing! 😂 Plus winter is 7 months long.
I will work on the rest of the pile over the next few weeks probably. I'd like to get it done before the real cold sets in. Although it's actually easier to split wood in sub-zero temps! 🤷‍♀️🤣

We had a dusting of snow last night but it melted by late morning. The ground is still pretty warm after those 70s we had earlier this week! They were saying we were supposed to get 6 inches tomorrow night but now it's down to 3.

I just watched news reports. We had a terrible storm on Sunday night and the National Weather Service just confirmed that we had 82 mph straight line winds. Large hail, too. Barns blew down, a steeple blew off of a church and trees blew down, too. People are still without power. I am thankful we didn't have severe damage to our property. My scarecrow decoration blew down and my neighbor's flag blew away, but that was it right here. The covid virus is exploding again, too. Schools and businesses are being shut down again. They have banned private parties and even the hospitals are turning people away b/c they are over capacity. 2020 is just too much. Praying 2021 is better.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

No. Just a really strong cold front. It was terrifying. I thought our roof was going to blow off. I prayed the entire time. So thankful my neighborhood had no damage. Many did. 🙏

Oh wow! Yes, those cold fronts can be pretty violent. We had some wind Sunday night as well come to think of it, along with some heavy snow squalls. But nothing like you all had!

Our Governor just announced new Covid 19 orders. No Holiday gatherings, out of state visitors must be tested, no unnecessary travel, masks must be worn at all times outside the home, etc.
It's neverending. More than 5000 new cases are being reported every day.☹
