That's hilarious, Ruth!

Thanks Emma! :) It started pouring as soon as I went out, so the lens kept getting wet!

Hi Meg,
I agree with Emma, it is beautiful.
Your pride and joy! You are in your
element (pre-mountain time).
It is wonderful to see the garden
lush and vivid after the rain.😃
Is that a lilac tree?
Lilies of the valley?
How Beautiful!
You could make your own perfume!

Thank you, Ruth. :) Yes, those are lilacs, and lilies-of-the-valley, both are heavenly fragrant right now!

First a little slender line,

What a lovely afternoon!
I am glad that you all enjoyed you little jaunt.
These are fantastic photos.
Nature looks untouched.
How refreshing.😌
"Like a mermaid's green eyelash, and then anon,
A stem that a tower might rest upon."
An elegant analogy.

Probably because, even sitting down, the
pestilential creatures can't keep up with you.😄

If I go into the woods by myself I do get bitten up, but if I'm near anyone else in my family, I don't get bitten and they do! My theory is that they must prefer certain blood types?

WHAA?? 🤣 I've been told that you can often smell a bear before you see it...and it's not supposed to be a pleasant smell!
A friend of ours has had the same experience...the bugs leave him alone but swarm his wife and children. He says they must not like the taste of sinners! 😳

Oh that's horrible! 😲🤭
When my family and I lived in TN, ticks are EVERWHERE!! My family, especially Allyson, would get a LOT on them every year, but I would only pull like maybe 2 off. I never did understand that. But, of course, I am now the only one in my family that has an allergy now from red meat, from a tick! 🤦🏻♀️🤷🤣

Oh dear. 😌 Ticks are nasty...and dangerous. I'd almost forgotten about there existence up here! In MO we had seed ticks (I guess they are actually just baby ticks, but for some reason we never saw them when we had lived in VA, though we had regular ticks)...anyway, the first summer we lived there my sister and I both got covered with them. But the next 2 years we were there I don't think I got a single tick! 🤷 From there we moved to WI and everyone else in my family got ticks but I didn't.

Yeah, I've lived in 6 states so far! Now my dad is talking about moving again...I'm not too happy about it, but we'll see. 😌

Wow, no I knew it was in June but didn't realize it was today.

I was just going to ask Emma, but now I'll ask both of you!😃 Have you ever read any of Dickens' works, and if so do you have any favorites? 🙂

I'm back finally! On a laptop! Yay! Enough with that mobile app. My new laptop arrived tonight. Finally I can see everything. If I could do a cartwheel without fear of breaking a hip I would.

Yay!! I've been missing your posts, but figured that was it. So glad to have you back in full! 🤗
I felt lost on that mobile app but it was better than nothing. And I upgraded my iPhone but I'll deal with activating it tomorrow. Tonight I just want to relax and read. And then I have to deal with going for the brain mri on Friday. Not looking forward to that.

Okay thanks! 😄🤗

Yeah I occasionally check Goodreads with my mom's phone and it's not the same! I hope you have a nice relaxing evening and you will be in my prayers for Friday... 🤗

Oh, another REALLY good one is David Copperfield! :)

Pink Lady's Slipper

Okay, change of plans. I'd stay underground in a basement for a week. 🤣🤣
How'd they even get that picture? It's surprisingly not blurry. 😂
