You would think it would be quicker since I live in Boston but since the test was free I have to go with what they said.

It was almost dark and my eyes aren't that good. I kept getting closer and closer but they were sooo fuzzy. I thought they must have been bears because they weren't running and I was getting pretty close. But then the white tails went up... π

It's okay to see bears in the distance, but rather unnerving close up. I've seen many over the years, but the closest ones I saw were females (Sows) with cubs who did not appreciate me being so near. I was out walking a few times and did not see them until I was nearly next to them! They were eating berries in the underbrush in the forest. I recommend NEVER to go walking during wild berry season! It happened to me more than once and I finally learned my lesson! Bears can climb, swim and run 35 mph! I'm too old to climb, too cold to jump in a lake, and cannot run 35 mph! Of interest...This is the last year they are allowing the annual bear hunt in New Jersey. Starting next year, no more bear hunting in that state. That means there will be lots more NJ bears who will swim across the Delaware River to Pennsylvania and end up in my backyard! Yippee!π For some reason the NJ bears always try to escape to PA! The PA Game Commission tag them and take them back, so that's how they know the bears are from NJ.Pammy Jo
