I took the poll...it was interesting to see how everyone else was voting as well! Surprising (maybe) that Longfellow is so far down in the list.

Hi Margaret,

Have you ever tried chrysanthemum tea?
If not, I highly recommend it.

Well now everyone has me craving a fresh pot of loose leaf tea! I'm taking a survey. Should I go with my Lady Londonderry(a black tea bits of lemon and strawberry in it) or Southern Peach?

It must be nice to have all that done, Margaret! Hopefully you aren't feeling too sore now, though! :)

Hi Doreen,
Lady Londonderry looks to be a delightful choice, I'll
have to try that one. What brand is it?

I wish I liked tea. I drink it as medicine but that's about it! I did drink Mugwort tea a few times out of curiosity because I read that it gives some people really vivid, technicolor dreams which I thought would be fun to have...lol! The taste was actually pretty good - for tea. ;)

Honestly I think it's some English brand. I got it off Amazon

These are President Lincoln personal effects
at the time of his assassination.

Meg,
You remind me of Jo from Little Women who drinks
wine for medicinal reasons- in the movie anyway.
Is it that you can't drink tea or you simple don't care
for it? Mugwort tea? How curious, did it work?
βπ€πHmmm?
For us, tea, like chocolate, lies between religion and
food group.π

Thanks Doreen,
I will have to look into that blend;
I like the prospect of new teas.

LOL! Now I'm trying to remember if Jo drank wine for medicinal reasons in the book! It sounds familiar...
I just don't like tea that much...shocking, I know! :D And perhaps even more shocking, I'm not crazy about plain chocolate either. I love it with nuts or peanut butter though.
I did have dreams after drinking the mugwort tea but they didn't seem especially vivid. Thinking about trying it again this year. ;)

Well - back to tea -- one of my favourites is Bigelow's "Constant Comment". Does anyone else like that? I used to joke with my husband that when he drank it he was constantly commenting! A little like Thoreau! Lol!

I was wondering whether you got snow too, Margaret! I guess we were lucky...we "only" got around 5 inches but some places around here got over a foot! Today was warm so it's mostly melted, but we're supposed to get more tomorrow.
Too funny about that tea!! :D

Lol! I was a little nervous too, but she only looked at me once and then kept on about her business so I guess she wasn't that concerned! I did change my mind about going for a walk though. :)

There were a lot of funny bear episodes on that show...it's great! :D My favorite character is an Indian named Joe Two-Rivers who speaks Ojibway to the bears...and they understand him!

Lol, I'm not really! My dad said when the mama bear looked at me and then continued about her business, she was probably saying, "Oh it's just that girl we see all the time in the woods looking at flowers...we'll have her for dinner next time she comes." :0

I figure about the middle of the month is a good time to start taking nominations. That way we can decide and vote on the poll and still have some time to find the book. :)
