Oh goodness, if I see one of those I might never go into the woods again! Lol

I'm sorry you didn't get to see your bear... (😱) But the scenery is beautiful! 💕

great views of the river too.
The land is so serene and
it looks autumnal.🤗
I am amazed the doe wasn't frightened,
it was so still, as if you weren't there.
This is a wonderful way to end the day.
The photos are very pleasing,
thank you for sharing them. 😊

Hi Emma,
I was looking into Coton de Tulear puppies
and came across this video, they are so
adorable! 🤗

They are so cute that are are the top of considerations.
Is that Konner or Ruth you are holding in your photo?
It is funny, your website's homepage has Ruth's puppies,
it almost seems prophetic.😄

Have you ever had this problem?😄

No, but I won't show this picture to my kitties...don't want them to get any ideas! :D

😄-It is a wonder you get anything done,
is this the same cat that doesn't allow you
to read and sleeps on your plants?

I agree with Emma.
You are talented, how long have you been playing
the accordion? Do you play any polkas?

How disappointing. Sorry that you and your sister will miss
out this year. I must say, for self-taught you are adept.
Do you practice often?
Here in Texas, polka is in the fabric of the Hill Country with the Czech, Polish and German settlements. If ever there is a place
visit Texas it is here, spring in particular.
I do love the polkas, in school were taught how to dance the
Polka, I had such a great time of it.

Meg, if you don't mind me asking, are you Amish?

Thanks Allyson...yes it is a fun instrument to play. I always did like to press buttons! :D

No there aren't, especially up here! But we do have a several people attending regularly (or did, before this virus hit). There is also a family across the border in NB...they have 5 kids. I miss them so much!!

That is neat!! Our church friends live near Woodstock. It's a long drive for them to come to church but they are very dedicated. We are also hoping that everything will be open by Pentecost. :)

I went into the backyard caught the
scent of the Maid of Orleans jasmine.
The cool wind was so refreshing,
as it washed over me.
The moon shining above me and
all I could say was 'Thank you".

Thank you for sharing your beautiful evening, Ruth. I love being in the garden at dusk...many flowers are more fragrant then.
We've had some beautiful evenings here lately too. As I was walking across the field at sunset the night before last, the words of Peter at the Lord's Transfiguration went through my mind... "Lord, it is good for us to be here."

I came across one of your errant creatures,
apparently he is not alone.

Emma,
Do your dogs have rhythm?

Hi Margaret,
Good question!
Yes, in fact the very same.
Have you tried it? Jasmine tea is rather good hot or cold.

Ruth, that is so cute! I wonder if he even knows he's got company? :D
The little dog with rhythm is adorable too! <3

I like that, Meg.
There is something special about that time
from just before sunset to dusk; the elegance
of nature as the day comes to an end.
God chose to walk with Adam in the cool of
the day. Yes, it is good for us to be here.

😄-Glad you were amused.
Just putting my two cents worth in here. I know we just started reading Walden and it's still a long way to go before the start of the next read but I think I have some good ideas swimming around my head. Still being in lockdown gives you a lot of time to think and sometimes that's not always a bad thing. I'm learning a lot and getting out of my comfort zone. I still return to it but I'm willing to embrace things I probably wouldn't before joining this group. Thank you everyone for helping me to see the light as it were.:)

I'm glad you are enjoying the group, Doreen. I feel that I'm learning a lot too from our discussions. :)
It's hard to believe but it will be time to start taking nominations for our June read soon and I'm looking forward to seeing what we pick this time!

experience; it is this distinction that stay with one for life.
Meg, I am learning a great deal as well, which is so gratifying.
I am discovering more about myself as I am startled in
processing my thoughts in the discussions
