Oh yes!!! My great-great uncle actually was at his show when they came to PA in the early 1900s.

Hannah Alane | 662 comments Oh wow, that is SOOOO neat!! One of my great-great aunts saw Annie Oakley interned in a hospital. My aunts lived in Ohio - and Oakley died in that state, so I'm assuming they must have saw her on her death bed. The thing that stuck out to them the most (as the story was passed down to me) was how snow white her hair had turned.

I have an Annie Oakley rag doll! Have any of you been to the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, Wyoming? It's such an interesting place! I love cowgirls! When I was little, I had a cowgirl outfit...fringed vest, skirt and a western hat with cowgirl boots, gun belt and two white handled cap gun pistols!!! The outfit was blue and white. The little boy next door and I used to play cowboys all the time. My dad even built a small canvas covered wagon for me! Those were the days! I was a regular Pistol Packin' Pammy!!!

Aw, sweet memories!!! My friends and I used to play cowboys and bad guys when we were younger too! I've never been out west, but sure would love to! That costume must have been a dream! I can see why you loved it so much!

I loved the little boy next door, too! His name was Gregory. He moved away when I was 6 yrs. old. I cried for weeks about it! Then another boy moved in and I got over it. I guess I was fickle back then! LOL!!!

The Rockies are beautiful. I stayed in a log cabin in The Grand Tetons, near Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It was next to a place called Jenny Lake. A big snowstorm hit while I was there...and it was mid-June!

Whoaw, snow in June!?! For some reason, I've always had a hankering to see Oklahoma, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. I heard the Mexican food in the southwest is to die for!

HAHA, in Nova Scotia, sometimes we'd still get snow in May. Yeah....that wasn't too enjoyable.

🀣🀣🀣 Oooh Emma, that's just too funny!!!!! When we were down in PA we took met some friends and went to Punxatawney to see all the groundhog sights. The visitor's center was closed due to the virus, so we were peeking in at the windows and our friend just playfully started knocking on the door and saying "let us in!"...then we realized there WAS somebody in there, who didn't seem to be greatly amused! She was sooo embarrassed! 🀣🀣

Yeah we can get snow as early as October and late as May here too. The old-timers talk about snow flurries on the 4th of July.

Wouldn't that have been so neat to see!?! It must have been great to live in the early 1900's. Like the 50's, it seemed like such an idealistic age.
