Day. Right now there is a tug of war
between chocolate and not chocolate,
we should have it resolved my next week.

Thank you! It sounds like it was a pretty uneventful trip...I know they're tired after a long trip like that, but they're sure to be shopping antique stores in their spare time! Which means more antique books. π

My cats generally prefer the packaging their toys come in to the actual toys themselves. My big girl, Clara, always smashes her cat tunnel toy flat as a pancake then lays on top of it!π

I can't eat strawberries. If I do, my tongue and throat swell shut. Grapes and pineapples do the same thing to me. The other day, I ate some peaches and my tongue got numb, so I am afraid of them now, too. Very strange.

Frustrated with the weather again. It is snowing with ice mixed in...and windy, as usual. We just got everything cleaned up and here we go again!π I would so love to have that moose Meg posted a picture of. He could plow us out and I could hook him up to a sleigh so he could get me to town to shop! Can you imagine what people would think to see a moose hitched to a pole in front of the store? No doubt, it would make the nightly news! πππ€£πππ
When are Meg and your dad heading back home? I'm praying for their safety as they travel. We are getting more snow on Sunday, and still more several times next week.π

Gone With The Wind! Oh, how I wish to write a book like that one! Of course, you know it's the "Southerner" in me which makes me wish I had written that book! Rhett Butler will ALWAYS be my favorite male lead character of all time! My Dear...I do think he is appealing!

I would like to remark about the film version of Gone With The Wind...Clark Gable was perfectly cast as Rhett Butler! ππHowever, I will NEVER understand Leslie Howard being cast as Ashley. WHY would Scarlett O'Hara ever long for Leslie Howardπ€ͺ when she had Clark Gable?????!!!!! Frankly, I just don't understand that at all! I would much rather find Clark Gable's shoes in my vicinityπ, than Leslie Howard's...and that's all I have to say about that!πππ€£ππ

Well, I shall have to agree with Dorothy, everytime I read The Dean's Watch, I am just amazed by how beautiful Elizabeth Goudge writes, the way she words things... I always wish I could write like that! π

way is he in Clark's league. His shoes polished
