A beautiful tour of the Trossachs region of Scotland, where Scott's 'Lady of the Lake' is set! At about 3:23 is Loch Katrine and Ben A'n, and there are several other mountains mentioned in the poem as well! I have decided to keep some of my indoor Christmas decorations up until Candlemas on February 2 this year. 2020 was such a sad and stressful year, so I'm keeping my Nativity set up, along with my nutcracker display and my Christmas tree. Because of my cats, I switched to a table top tree several years ago (they climbed the big tree, knocked it down and generally acted like wild cats!). 😆 For a short time, I actually considered hanging the cat's toys on the tree as decorations, but reconsidered, as I thought it would encourage naughty behavior! 🤔 Anyway, my small tree is still big enough for 140 white lights and my decorations are crocheted snowflakes, icicles, snowmen and angels. Basically just winter things, with red plastic balls (my cats broke most of the glass ornaments when they knocked down the tree!).🙄 When the tree fell, the angel on top went flying across the room! 🤣 I did remove my ceramic tree and Christmas carolers and replaced those with a scene of small deer, snow and trees for winter. That's on my hutch. I'm keeping my cardinal and winterberry centerpiece on the table, too. I just don't want such a drab and dreary winter, especially not this year.Sorry to get long winded.
