Jessica Kagan (invisiblesandwich) | 2 comments Hi all!

I'm currently working on a (standalone) sequel/spinoff to Behind the Bitmask, which is an urban fantasy/sci-fi novel. Think of it as a book 1.5 that doesn't rely on you having read the first book (though it doesn't hurt). I'm currently interested in publishing this book serially (which basically means I'd be releasing a new section of the book once every 1-2 months until it's done, after which I'd compile the full thing into one volume), so I'm looking for beta readers.

Besides the usual beta read/sanity check work, I'm aiming to make sure this book is intelligible to someone who hasn't read other Endian Project content. The ideal beta reader for this work enjoys urban fantasy/sci-fi with some LGBTQ themes, is okay with content about equivalent to an R-rated movie (violence, profanity, etc), can offer at least a 2-week turnaround, and would be available for new content monthly.

I'm offering $25 for this job (and likely the same for future chapters). Let me know if you're interested.

EDIT: Some extra info:
1. If I decide to go with your services, I'll let you know no later than Monday at 11:59 PM (EDT, UTC -04:00).
2. The book is still being written. I do not expect it to be longer than 100k words, and the final count will probably be closer to 75-80k.

booksnooksandglory Hi, I’m interested in beta reading for you. Thought I haven’t read the previous book you’ve mentioned you’d want fresh eyes, I’d be that for this project. I’ve thorpugly read your offer and I wouldn’t need to make any changes. I’m very interested in sci-fi and the LGBTQ+ themes, being a member of the community myself.
My email is: norawatkinsbray@gmail.com

I would love to do the process via Fiverr, the payments are safer and it has a great client protection policy (though I wouldn't mind not doing it via Fiverr):
If you want to do it via Fiverr message me through this link and I can make you a custom offer:

Thanks for considering me

Marta :} | 52 comments Hi!
I'm interested in beta reading for you, I like fantasy with lgbtq elements and don't mind any of the R contents you've mentioned.
I can also offer you at least a two weeks turnaround (probably less though), general feedback - world building, characters, conflicts and also answers to any of the questions you could have. I also have availability and would like to work with you on a longer term as well!
You can see testimonials and more details on my website: https://thecursedbooks.wordpress.com/...
You can contact me at marta_antonella@yahoo.com if you're interested.

Victoria Seymour | 20 comments Hi, Jessica.
I'm interested in beta reading for you. I have experience beta reading fantasy/sci-fi and I'm fine with R-rated content. I am not familiar with Endian Project content. I can meet your two week turnaround and I would be available for new content monthly.

If you are interested, please have a look at my website for details of the beta reading service I offer (I call it an early manuscript review):

Scott Sargent | 164 comments Hello Jessica,
It looks like you already have a large pool to choose from, but I will add my name to your list.

Although I am not a professional beta reader, I am an avid reader and (so far) amateur writer, so I think I have a good understanding of what you are looking for. In addition I am a high school teacher and stage director. In my work, I regularly study three-act structure, characterization, and pacing.

Also –no school. I can easily turn around a chapter in a day or two. Either way, I wish you well with your project. Cheers!

Jessica Good morning Jessica!

I am very interested in beta reading this project for you. I would be a pair of fresh eyes as I have not read the first installment, and I can have the project back to you within your requested time frame.

This genre is a niche of mine as I read many various sub-genres of fantasy. I am also a copyeditor as well for this subject and others.

You can find more information and contact me via my website: http://www.jberryproofreading.com/. You can also send me an email at berryjessicad@yahoo.com.
