should there be 2 series?

These books were published in Norway first, then about half were published in the US, but not in the same publication order. Different language publishers have published them in completely different orders. I have been making those as imprint editions.

The GR series combines US publication order with the original Norwegian publication order which is very confusing. I believe there should be a US series, and Norwegian series. Can someone give me some guidance please?

Same thing happened with Maj Sjöwall's Martin Beck series. In the end we used the original numbering.

If it's the same book it should always be combined.

If the series have different orders in different countries, they can have different series pages.

However! The editions in different languages should be combined, which means the series pages would have the wrong edition(s) showing in at least some cases. Whether that makes having multiple series pages more or less confusing than a single one with notes in the description is a matter of taste.

I am combining. I get that part. Some publishers published them in groups with other westerns, and I am making those in the editions field with the specific publisher's number there. The US. Publication order includes the first 43 of the Norwegian publications, in similar order.
