This book is great to use in KS1 or early KS2. I was introduced to it on BSE and observed a PSHE lesson based around it.

The book is a repetition of different sentences beginning with 'Its okay to be...' The book is illustrated with many colourful pictures making it fun and engaging for the children! As well as some funny pages which cause lots of amusement. When placed on the bookshelf before being read as a class, it was commonly picked out to be read by many students.

They're are many different PSHE activities you could base around the book and I think it is great for introducing the idea of diversity and acceptance in the classroom.
