How do you get published, can someone explain the process to me.

you have to mail or email your novel/novella into a publishing company and they will offer you a price to by rights to the book, or they will tell you it sucks and you'll have to send it somewhere else
...Hmm..well I don't have any money..so that blows me off the "wanting to get published" list..lol.I'm not really sure I want to get published, it'd be nice too though.

What exactly is a novella, is a short novel?
yes, a novella is a short novel, but first you must find a place that will publish your writing...then they sort of buy you and you have to write for them otherwise they will no longer pay you but they can change anything they want in your books

no, like they can delete things they don't like or change characters....an editor is basically what a publisher is, but you must write according to their standards
