Sort on Search endpoint

Is it possible to sort the results of a call to the search endpoint?

Specifically, I'd like to sort by the published date.

For example:

https://www.goodreads.com/search/inde...

It seems it can be done for shelves, where a full range of sort options are available but for the search, it doesn't work.

If it already exists, please could you tell me how to achieve it.

search end point not giving , totalbooks count, so iam not able to paginate from by client-application
