I’m in the PtP Challenge, as well! I’m hoping this challenge doesn’t push me behind, but so far I’ve been able to finish some other books in between tasks.

Amelia wrote: "Also, Chris. L, how was the book you read? It seems interesting. Did you enjoy it?"I did! The romance progresses a little slow at first (since they really take time to explain the lifestyle) and then speeds up at the end (since it's a novella and needs a HEA). I'm interested on getting my hands on the second in the series, but it's not on Kindle Unlimited!

Sounds good!
Tiki, how is going?
Good ! Started working normally yesterday and I'm excited! I'm working on a new collection for the beginning of Summer. How about you?
Collection? Are you a designer? I'm not too bad. Just been trying to find the motivation to work. I've been reading on the side a bit too - I really regret signing up for so many challenges.
Chris, I’m also curious as to what you do! I know you mentioned you have a studio? And workplaces are starting to slowly open back up around me, too, but libraries (since they work so much with the public, as least my library does as a public library) are still debating on what to do. For now, we’re working from home, but there’s only so much we can do.
In the meantime, I’ve been staying at home reading. I’m in only two challenges but six book groups and most of them have changed their virtual meet dates from monthly to biweekly because of all the time we have on our hands, so definitely a lot of reading on my end, haha!
Amelia, what do you do in theater? And motivation to do school work or theater work? Though I understand that feeling! It’s hard to be motivated working from home with all the distractions around, haha.

I'm trying to get my degree in Musical Theatre and Media Studies but my classes feel more like Literature because we can't do certain things at home.
Honestly, I really like lockdown and I'm going to be upset when everything opens up again, no doubt.
You can say that. I design and create accessories and jewelry mostly made of leather. (most of the time I spend it at the studio but I work as a freelancer/consultant for GDPR, Intel Security and all things data related too) - artist/geek
Here starting Monday, the lockdown will stop to be so strict and we will return to the norm step by step. I don't really know how it will play out though.
Amelia, being a performer should be amazing! How long until you finish your studies?
I'm hoping to get everything wrapped up soon.Your job is cool! Is it your own company or do you work for someone?
Do any of you have experience with Audible? I was wondering if you could answer a few questions for me.
Sorry y’all I have been busy! Just finished my book, give me a few and I will post. I can answer audible questions if needed, well I will try
And both of your have such cool jobs! Amelia, what’s been your favorite show you’ve been part of? And Chris, do you have pictures of your work?Tiki! You’re back! :) How was your road trip?

Review: This book fits a little in the dark category. I have never read anything like this. It is so enchanting and emotional roller coaster. I really loved the book and had a really hard time putting it down once I started. Never read this author before either, I will be reading book 2 really soon.

Been crazy, haven’t left yet!! Leaving in 2 weeks but been super busy taking care of the animals on the farm and getting things set-up to leave. Never new 2k mike road trip could be so time consuming. I guess we are driving to Arizona to pack up 5 acres of stuff for my grandparents and bringing them back to our 27 acre farm in NE Texas so my parents can help them. Then in a month or two, I have to do the same thing again for my dad’s older sister who has become wheel chair bound recently🥺. Hopefully my husband and I will be able to move ourselves soon to the property so we can stop driving 300 miles one way from SE Texas to NE Texas every few days to help run the farm. To many animals and to much to do plus help husband run his company, it’s never ending. Amelia and Chris I agree with y’all. When the everything opens up again I am not going to be happy having to go back to work right now. To much on my plate😏😔🥺
I just prefer being in lockdown in general :(So, do you have to pay for the books you use with audible?
And if you do does that count my Kindle Unlimited books?
I’ve been thinking of using audio books so I can work and read. It’ll probably help me out a lot and, hopefully, I’ll be able to get challenges done a lot quicker.

Kindle unlimited has some books that are part of them that are audible, you just have to look. Or you can buy them. Getting the audible account like unlimited I have come to find is not worth the money.
Amelia, so Audible and Kindle Unlimited are technically separate services and there is a fee to Audible (I think it’s like $14 a month, which gets you one credit a month to use on a title, the rest you have to pay for after that at normal rates, which are generally $20-$24 depending). If you subscribe to Audible, those credits are separate and won’t take away from your Kindle Unlimited credits. However, some Kindle Unlimited titles are available as an audiobook you can listen to, which would use up a Kindle Unlimited credit (as if you’re reading it, in fact, you can go back and forth between reading and listening.)

Also try using overdrive through your library if you can
Chris wrote: "Amelia, so Audible and Kindle Unlimited are technically separate services and there is a fee to Audible (I think it’s like $14 a month, which gets you one credit a month to use on a title, the rest..."Yep so true, but with unlimited you can continue to borrow up to 10 books at a time with unlimited not just 1 book, lol.
Hint: if you return your Audible book, you can get your credit back and do that as many times in the month as you can listen and finish books! But yea, I didn’t find the cost worth it for Audible. But yea, I have Overdrive, which is great!
Chris wrote: "Hint: if you return your Audible book, you can get your credit back and do that as many times in the month as you can listen and finish books! But yea, I didn’t find the cost worth it for Audible...."
Can you keep the book with that credit or do you have to return the book?
Chris wrote: "Hint: if you return your Audible book, you can get your credit back and do that as many times in the month as you can listen and finish books! But yea, I didn’t find the cost worth it for Audible...."
Then yeah it’s worth it, especially since some books are $30-$40
Overdrive is only really available for southern areas of England. I heard you can borrow an audible book then switch it out for another once you're done.
Do you think I should maybe try the 30 day free trial and see what I think?
I’d say try it - just remember to cancel on time, lol!And yes, it’s that process of returning the book. Technically, you buy the audiobook using a credit; but when you’re done, you return it (like you’re displeased with it), and they’ll refund you the credit (to keep the customer happy), and then you can use that credit for another book. It’s technically not legal, but also not illegal. It’s like buying a new, expensive dress for an event and then returning it after you’ve already worn it for the event (knowing you were planning on returning it from the very beginning)
