message 262: by Chris (new)

Chris | 643 comments you can ask Kat?

message 263: by Milly (new)

Milly (purpleglitterypinecone) Wait what? I thought it was just two authors...

message 264: by Ris (new)

Ris | 485 comments Either two authors listed as themselves or two authors writing under one pen name, but yes, two authors are required for the task.

message 265: by Milly (new)

Milly (purpleglitterypinecone) I should have my book done tonight (or tomorrow morning, depending on your time zone). I woke up late, and that’s probably because my late nights have been catching up with me, so I didn’t finish my priority work till around 5pm. But, I’ll get back to reading now :)

Ris | 485 comments We can also look at reading one of Renee Rose's series to read for that one task that requires us to read the same series, since I know both Chris & Tiki have both rated her books highly? Just a thought/option!

Her books are really good!! She is one of my favorite authors. Her book series or Sold To The Berserkers Berserkers series is good not have to be read in any order also. Long with Renee Rose books series, all paranormal with small amounts of bdsm/dark in His Human Slave this series and this one King of Diamonds I gave you the first book only but many more.

message 269: by Chris (new)

Chris | 643 comments I haven't read any books by Lee Savino alone, only her collab with Renee Rose, and I liked most of them.
As far as Renee Rose's books I like her Vegas Underground Series and several of the Bad Boy Alphas, she has a sci-fi alien series but I've read only one book, I not a fan of alien smut, once in a while I'll read a book for the laugh but that's it. Smurfs and purple aliens are quite funny

These are not funny, they're complete alpha men especially with human women

Chris | 643 comments the stories are great, don't get me wrong. but with my imagination and the descriptions of the aliens etc, I'm a lost cause.

Chris | 643 comments Have you watched Watchmen? If yes, there is a scene where Dr. Manhattan (the blue dude) is fully naked and everything is visible. Imagine being at the movies, relatively front rows and to have a flash of blue 🍆 and among that take into account 4-5 dudes at their early 20s, after that you will only be able to see smurfs and just even now that I'm thinking about it...

message 276: by Milly (new)

Milly (purpleglitterypinecone) I’m really sorry! I seemed to not realise I had a lot of work! It’s all done now. I’m like 70% through with my book, so that’s good :)

After this task, my reading will probably speed up again!

I just feel really bad because I kind of let you guys down for the task :(

Congrats on the new phone! I remember switching from Android to iPhone, and there’s a small learning curve, but now I could never go back, haha!

message 284: by Milly (new)

Milly (purpleglitterypinecone) I tend to stick with iPhones (I’ve had that make all my life) because I just find them easier to navigate. If someone gave me an Android I wouldn’t know the first thing as to how to use it.

message 285: by Chris (new)

Chris | 643 comments Megies Tiki for the new phone!

I never had an iPhone and I'm not sure if I'll ever get one mostly because I choose a phone based on radiation levels.

I don’t know about radiation levels with this phone but I am coming to love it regardless. Just really different to use. We had to be able to talk to our daughter when we go to to the farm and leave her in town so we had no choice but to upgrade. Not what I planned when we went to get new phones.

Chris | 643 comments Chris if you can, add the total of the pages, I know it's obvious that it's over 1000,just to make Kat's life easier.

MountainKat | 31598 comments Here is your next task:

51. Each teammate reads a book published in the same month and year, teams decide. No pass for this task.

You need to decide what month and year to use as a team. You need to use the initial publication date for this task.

message 295: by Chris (new)

Chris | 643 comments Yay! New task!

I checked the previous messages and that was the last one about this task:
51. Each teammate reads a book published in the same month and year, teams decide. No pass for this task.
** June, August, or October** 2016 or 2018

So have you decided the final date?

message 296: by Milly (new)

Milly (purpleglitterypinecone) I need to read a book that’s July 2019, pretty soon actually, but it’s fine if we can’t do that - I’ll find another book.

message 297: by Milly (new)

Milly (purpleglitterypinecone) Now that I look a lot of my want-to-read is published in July

message 298: by Chris (new)

Chris | 643 comments I have no issue about the dates, I'll find something. + I have more than 10 books that I didn't have the chance to read yet because they were delayed at the post.

Amelia, how was the book you read?

message 299: by Milly (new)

Milly (purpleglitterypinecone) For the last task? Honestly, it was pretty good - better than the ones I read for the other three tasks anyways. I better write a review; I haven’t had time because I finished it late last night :(

message 300: by Ris (new)

Ris | 485 comments I’m fine with whatever date we select - Goodreads have lists for romance novels published in almost every month and year, so it’ll be easy to find something!
