SOLVED. Book about self-isolating one year in a New York apartment by female author. [s]

I seem to remember reading a book review between <1 - 2 years ago about a book where the plot was basically that someone who I seem to remember was economically independent self-voluntarily isolated themselves in their Manhattan/New York apartment for one year just to get away from it all. I can't for the life of me find the name or the review, since googling for books turns out to be way harder than I anticipated, but I seem to remember it was pretty well received and much talked about. Any ideas?
