Merge Activity on 2 Editions

I'm not sure how to go about this and don't want to accidentally delete my reading activity. When I first got a book and shelved it, because both contain the same ISBN in their descriptions, I accidentally picked an edition with a slightly different cover (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... ) than the one I actually have (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... ) onto which when I started tracking date/page read two months later added a second "shelved" date. All activity, finished book, and a review except that original shelving are on the second book edition I've linked and the book title comes up as though I have 2 copies. It doesn't seem I can update the shelved date on the copy I do have and when I thought of just deleting the version I don't have off my "to read" shelf I got the warning popup that it would delete tags and reviews etc.

Is there a way to merge the activity from the book edition I don't have to all the rest on the other edition? Any way to edit the original "shelved" date on the edition I do own? Will deleting one version delete all the activity on the other since it all comes up on both versions?
