SPOILERS AHEAD:

This book is about a man who's young son was kidnapped and murdered. The son was eventually found and one of his captors found and killed while being captured. Then the ghost of the son and the one kidnapper who was caught and killed starts appearing to him and telling him there was a second kidnapper who still has a child captive. He then goes and recuses the girl who was also kidnapped with his son and kills the other kidnapper.
