Excerpt from The Cerebrum Decay Disorder by Rayden Radcliffe

The Ceredum Decay Disorder, or more commonly known as the CDD, is a deadly schizophrenic disease caused by the Decay Virus. It spread through the air and therefore highly contagious. The CDD attacks the brain, specifically the part of the brain known as the cerebrum. The cerebrum is the largest, most developed part of the brain. It's functions include:
-Determining Intelligence
-Determining Personality
-Thinking
-Perceiving
-Producing and Understanding Language
-Interpretation of Sensory Impulses
-Motor Function
-Planning and Organization
-Touch Sensation

The CDD occaisonally affects other necessary organs and avoids the brain, but its prime focus is the cerebrum. We are yet to uncover why this is so. The CDD works by slowly eating away the cerebrum and eventually the whole brain. It reduces a victim's thinking, reasoning, understanding and emotions, slowly turning the victim insane until the whole brain has been corroded. The effect is somewhat like turning a victim into a zombie.

There are four stages of the CDD. The zero stage shows almost know effects or symptoms at all. With the right amount of treatment, the disease can eventually be destroyed, but it is far harder to do so in the first stage. The first includes faint symptons, traces of the disease. The second includes much more pronounced symptons, and the third is the full change from a person with reason, intelligence and emotion to a savage, hostile, inhumane creature.

Stage One
-Sudden violence/anger
-Hallucinations
-Sudden, agonising headaches
-Coughing up blood

Stage Two
-Pulling out hair
-Self-harm infliction
-Unreasonable actions
-Harsher anger
-More powerful strength
-Developing taste for flesh

Stage Three
-Consumtion of flesh, both human and animal
-Complete loss of emotions
-Complete loss of reasonable thoughts
-Complete loss of recognition of others
-Unpredictable, insane actions towards others
