Days Without End come to mind first, but the two MCs are male. There is also a young girl in the story.
This might be On Swift Horses by Shannon Pufahl - though it came out in late 2019. Unlike Days Without End, it is set in a small town and has a male protagonist and a female protagonist. Both are gay. I also seem to recall this book appearing on the Goodreads blog.

I'm trying to remember a book that was released around 2017- early 2019. Had a Western theme (was set in the sort of small towns you usually find in those places). Had two protagonists - one male, one female, and I believe the male was possibly gay. As the title says, I seem to remember it being a literary fiction genre book - and it was promoted by Goodreads on their blog.
