I loved it. I plan to reread it in the future sometime too.

I just completed this book yesterday,it was bittersweet. The writing, world building, characters and philosophical debates were excellent.
Believe it or not, I started this in January of 2019 and I haven't even reached the halfway point yet. I am listening to the audiobook. I feel I need to say I've read this, but so far it's a 2 star read for me. I haven't found the characters that engaging. The only part I do like is the peek into French society and culture.
Kirsten "keep calm there are only 13 days left", where are you up to now? This book is mega large...
How long has this one been on your TBR shelf? At least since freshman year of high school (2011)
Why does this novel interest you?
I learned about it from my French class and the live film adaptation was released shortly after I learned about it. I became obsessed with the story and characters. I tried to tackle the book a few years ago but lost motivation as the book is so large.
Do you know anyone else who is tackling this book this year?
I don't know anyone who is planning to read this book this year
