The guy is the brother of the lord or king of a fortress and he's the general( I think) and he has some kind of power ( necromancy I think). The girl is a warrior and is a badass ( in the description of the book contains something like she rewards those who fights good something like that).The cover of the book contains a red haired girl hugging a guy whose hands wields some kind of magic. The book was released between 2014 to 2018
