Thoughts?

Laura H | 367 comments I was just able to get the audio book for this for now, there's a wait on the library ebook. I am looking forward to starting it soon. This would be a reread; I read the paperback some years ago, and I enjoyed it.

Laura H | 367 comments I also read Catalyst about that same time, and remember enjoying that one too. I am about an hour into Speak. Right from the start, the writing draws you in to understand the character.

Catalyst looks interesting! I hope we can read it as a group here sometime.

Amanda Baker | 27 comments I really liked speak. While I thought parts were missing from the book, and I hate that no resources were ever really provided to her to demonstrate the after effects of such a traumatic event when they occur, I think this shows it happens. But it also shows that nothing happens when you speak out-- it isn't the books fault though, it is society.

Laura H | 367 comments Catalyst had a good ending. I am at 62% of Speak. I think the author gets the teen experience and the traumatic event after effects. Waiting to see how the conclusion plays out.

Maggie the Muskoka Library Mouse (mcurry1990) An important book I read through in a day, since I couldn't put it down.
