Hey all,

Looking for some productive, constructive way to spend this time. I wrote this story years ago and I know it needs some work, but I have no idea how to make it better. I've reread it a dozen times and would love some fresh eyes.

Here's an overview of my 69k YA sci-fi story:

Centuries in the future, a waterlogged humanity becomes cursed by remnants of lunar warfare; obtaining superpowers when debris from a destroyed moon enters the atmosphere. Those that have been corrupted by lunar superpowers call themselves Celestials, and the self-sufficient government of Orlando, Florida wants to quarantine and stop them at any cost.

Elyon Volantis, codenamed Verity, feels trapped by his own power: forcing people to tell the truth. As a misfit interrogator for the Orlando city-state’s police department, Verity joins a task force aimed at taking down renegade Celestials to feel like he belongs. Though plagued by his crippling lack of self-confidence, he becomes involved in trying to take down ENDYMION, a Celestial terrorist group with unknown motives.

Hello I am looking for someone to critique my ya fantasy manuscript. It is about 81,00 words long, also it does contain some strong language and violence.

A group of teens goes on a camping trip to celebrate the end of the school year. Trouble brews when the world is shrouded in darkness. Fortunately the sun shines again but all is not right for supernatural creatures and magic have entered the world. Join Ember and Holly as they struggle to survive and find safety in this new world.

Diego is a new soldier sent out with his unit to help save a town from the onslaught of frightening beings. He battles hard with his comrades, will he survive and save the town?
