Amy (DemonKittie) (demonkittie) Here is our thread for the January BOTM. Please participate if you are reading it or at least tell us if you are going to read it or not. I would like to know.

Yay Jane! And I know I left you hanging, but not for too long. The sequel and final book in the series will be out in July! That's only a hop, skip and jump away! Haha!

Faith Hays | 1 comments I read this book already. I loved it! We learn a lot about Eden and why Ian and the other guys have those crazy abilities. And there's all this other mysterious stuff going on. The love story is still so beautiful, but Kate finds out some pretty disappointing information. And the ending??? What??!! That's all I can say. I can't wait for the next book!

Amy (DemonKittie) (demonkittie) I will have to see if I can wrangle a copy of this one. Sucks to be broke. I am actually trying to read all the books we do as a group.

Bookworm1951 | 6 comments I am currently about 80% through this book & am enjoying it as much as I did Breeder. I like seeing Ian's point of view as well as Kate's. I am no young adult but even so this book is so well written it has completely engrossed me in it's twists & turns. I am anxiously awaiting book 3 as I know from a few spoilers there is a big cliffhanger coming in The Archer. July can't come soon enough.

Mary (marymyrtleturtleclark) | 7 comments I've read The Archer and loved it!! I can't wait to see what happens next! The end left me like a good cliffhanger should, ready for the next one! Seeing things from Ian's point of view was very helpful. Kate is a wonderful role model for young ladies.

Yes, Kate is a good role model. Strong, smart, capable. I like how she doesn't depend on Ian for everything, and even hates it when he has to carry her. I took that as metaphorical for her as a woman who likes to stand on her own two feet.

Jane (janeinri) | 122 comments Yay Casey - that is not TOO long to wait! I loved your son's cover illustration - and that all the Eden folk have it tattooed somewhere on their bodies. (view spoiler)

You got it! I've written a prologue and the first 3 chapters, so we are well on our way! The final book may be a little bit longer than the other two, but my hope is to make it as satisfying an ending as possible for all my fans. It's a HUGE task, but I'm up to the challenge. I'm glad you liked The Archer. So sorry about that nasty little cliffhanger, but in my defense, I never know where these characters are going to take me. They really do have minds of their own! :)

Jane (janeinri) | 122 comments Hi Laura! I'd love to hear what you think of the book. I read it weeks ago but haven't had anyone to discuss it with.

Cheer Papworth (cheerest) | 330 comments I really love this book, even more than The Archer, if that is possible.

Amy (DemonKittie) (demonkittie) I need to get reading. It's only the first day of the year and I feel like I am behind. Weird.

Jane (janeinri) | 122 comments LOL Demonkittie - I think you can give yourself a week or 2 before you get behind...

Cheer, I feel the same way. I enjoyed the 2nd book more - loved getting some answers to why the "Boys of Eden" are different. And that ending!!!!

Amy (DemonKittie) (demonkittie) LOL, I know, but it feels a lot later in the month than the second for some reason. I have already read a book a day too, even if they were smaller ones.

I guess it's no secret that The Archer ends in an exciting cliffhanger! I agree that The Archer was even better than Breeder! That is saying a lot!!

Katy (authorkatywalker) | 1 comments I read it. :D

Mary (marymyrtleturtleclark) | 7 comments Too bad we are too old for picture books. The boys of Eden would make a nice picture book, I'd bet. Just thought I'd throw that out there :) AND Looks like The Archer is going into the final round for Top Dystopian Author 2014 in The Three Bookateers 2014 Book Awards on Facebook!! Whoop Whoop!
