Inheriting Edith question

I read the ebook so it's difficult to flip pages back to a certain spot. How many years difference between Arthur and Liza? How many years ago did Edith first reach out to Arthur and then stand him up? I ask because he said the wedding album was 38 years old which meant he had become friends with Liza prior to that. He said they were friends about 20 years and then lost touch. I find it strange that he would have lost touch with her (being a sibling rather than a friend) for another 20 years. How much older was Liza than Maggie? Know so many real characters like Edith & Esther, glad Maggie evolved, didn't so much care for the open end, but really question the timeline on some of these events.
