I love her books and I love foods of many different cultures, so I can't imagine not loving this book, Don. This is a great (for me) first recipe to share.
It looks and sounds great, Don. Drat this group. Even when I'm not hungry all your posts, Don, and others' posts, tend to make me want to eat. Luckily, it's too late in the day for me to really eat and I try to come into this group NOT right before mealtimes.
Don, I'll have to make something like this, though my garam masala probably needs replacing. I think it's been a long time since I've used what I have.
Thanks for your posts Don! I made some paella last week and was really underwhelmed. I splurged for the saffron and then couldn't taste it at all. Is it really necessary? Should I just use a lot?

Yum! This looks delicious!!! I always eat vegan summer rolls at our Thai restaurant here, I should really learn how to make them myself! ;)

I'm looking forward to reading more posts in this thread.
