I’ve tried Googling details about the book, to no avail. I read this children’s / picture book when I was about 8 during the mid 90s at our local library (in Yorkshire, England), but cannot remember the title or author. I can only remember it being about a boy who tightropes his way out of difficult situations - I think he wore a jester hat. I think there was one scene where he may have been in court performing for a king or queen?
Your help would be much appreciated!
