How much I hated that charlatan in this story! Backstabbing dog! But, I loved Babbity. And, even more I the way JKR empowers her women.

And, I'm really thankful for Dumbledore's commentary. He just clarified to me the difference between transfiguration and the art of Animagus.

This one is my absolute favorite! And, I think the most beautifully written story in this book. I loved every moment of it! I just want to keep on reading and rereading it. And, it definitely had the deepest message of all.

And, Dumbledore's commentary makes me even more curious about the elder wand. Why didn't any witch ever own it? Why did it always get beaten even when it's the most powerful? God! Why does Dumbledore have to conceal so much?!

Drishti (drishti_ohri) | 1077 comments Evi, I love the magical world, too! ♥ Only if I could dive into it and never return back! *gets all dreamy*

And, I agree with you. The Tale of Three Brothers is THE BEST! IDK why but I felt that that was the only story which had the special JKR touch. You know what I mean, right?

Drishti (drishti_ohri) | 1077 comments Yes! Exactly! 8)

Dumbledore's commentary is gold. How did Mrs Bloxam get published rofl

It was cool how the journey solved their problens and not the destination (the pool)

Didn't like this story but Dumbledore's analysis was good

Noella (kookiemonstar) | 3613 comments Babbity Rabbity and the cackling stump: i liked how this story introduced the lesson that the dead cannot be revived and it introduced Animagi. Good informative short tale for young witches and wizards methinks

Noella (kookiemonstar) | 3613 comments My favourite is also the last story! It's the shortest but most memorable. I think it's because of what we know from the HP series about the objects each brother wished for. Dumbledore concealed a lot because he doesn't want the book to fall in the wrong hands and obtain information that could put the world at risk. Remember this book is going to be read by the wizarding world from parent to kids and so he can't reveal much eh? xD
