Deadly character "Win"

Hi, everyone. I am trying to remember the name of a fiction series that included a lethal martial-arts type of guy whose nickname was "Win." He was a friend of the main character and despite his fighting skills was a sort of finicky dandy. Unfortunately I cannot remember anything else about the characters or the series. Any help would be appreciated.
