5k sci-fi short story - need beta partner

I'm interested in swapping short stories with someone for some good, honest feedback. My story, The Final Sentinel, blends science fiction with a "coming of age" story. It runs at 5,600 words. I would like to swap with someone who has a short story around the same length, give or take several thousand words.

Hey, Luke. not sure if you still need someone to beta read, but I be more than welcome to do it. I have a short story as well (8k) and it's about three young men who, after stealing a safe full of money from a crime boss, flee into the desert, hoping to start new lives somewhere else.
