Yep that works! I will add you to the list.

Cecelia wrote: "Me too!
Does it count if there are numbers on the cover but not on the title?"
Hmmm I'd say that works. The prompts are kinda of interpretive based on what you think could work and for this month it's gonna be pretty flexible as long as you aren't to far fetched from what the prompt is saying ;)

Is there meant to be a moon next to your name? When I put you on the list it changed part of your name to a moon- just wanted to double check

Whenever someone posts a completion post I'm going to enter it under your name in the spreadsheet. It's just for me to keep track of how the challenge is going, and can also be used if you want to see how you are doing in the challenge (which prompts you have completed, how many, etc.)

Date Completed: april 7th
Rating: 4/5
Prompt Completed: A book written by an author whose work you've never read before

You can go ahead and post it on this thread

Lily wrote: "Are we allowed to read mangas on our TBR list?"
Depends on the number of pages- if it is over 100 pages and has a pretty decent amount of text (based on what you think) then sure!

Completion posts can be posted on this thread for this month. In the future there might be a different one just for completion posts but for now you can put them here.

Book Title : Peter Pan
Author : J.M. Barrie
Date Completed : April 2, 2020
Rating : 4/5
Prompt Completed : A book with a cover you judge badly
How it fits the prompt : I don't like the cover of this book...
Sara wrote: "Is it too late to sign up to participate? If not, I'd like to join please!"
Sure! You can still join. Since I was a little late putting the challenge out the sign up date is a little flexible. I will put you down.

Thank you! Also dumb question but I wanted to clarify: TBR is the "to be read" self right?

Hello! I hope everyone is doing good!
Here are the prompts that were randomly chosen for April for this challenge:
- A book with a cover you judge badly
- A book that is told from a villain's perspective
- A book with not so good ratings that you think you’d like
- A book that has number(s) in the title
- A book written by an author whose work you've never read before
Please sign-up down below if you would like to participate. Everyone participating should complete at least 2 of the prompts chosen above by reading books from their TBR shelf. If you finish 2 of the above prompts, keep on going and try to complete all 5!
As this is the first month trying out this challenge, it will serve as a "test" month. Nearing the end of the month I will put out a poll to receive feedback and suggestions for the challenge.
Also, since this is the first time, I am kind of late putting the challenge for April out, and with everything going on in the world right now the date to sign up by will be a little flexible. Please try and post if you are participating by around April 4th, but if it is a little later then no worries.
I will be keeping track of who is participating and how many out of the 5 prompts everyone completes in the month so we can see who the top TBR shelf cleaner are but also to provide me some data on how many prompts should be offered each month.
RULES:
1. Books must be read between April 1st and April 30th
2. As this is a young adult (YA) book group, it is encouraged but not required that you read YA books
3. Books must be over 100 pages and comics, graphic novels, manga, children's books, etc. can only be used if over 100 pages or 15,000+ words
4. PLEASE read over the instructions in this challenge folder before you start the challenge
5. You can complete more than one different book for each prompt (ex. for prompt 1 you could basically complete it 3 times with 3 different books)
