This is the group thread for The Perks of Being a Wallflower!

This thread is open for discussion beginning April 1st! Please keep in mind that spoilers are allowed (mark as a spoiler) in this thread but only up to the group's current reading place. Do not spoil the book if you've read further than the group. Any extra days can be used to catch up if needed!

The Group Read Discussion schedule is as follows:

Week of 4/1
April 1: Part 1
April 2: Part 1
April 3: Part 2
April 4: Part 2

Week of 4/5
April 5: Part 3
April 6: Part 3
April 7: Part 4
April 8: Part 4 + epilogue

You can read the group book at any time during the month and at your own pace. This is the pace the group will be using, but if you read ahead or will be giving spoilers, please mark them (click the "some html is ok button"). If you have any question a mod will help you.

I tried my best to make this even, but this appears to be a very short read. This thread will open on Sunday.

I agree! It’s been a few years since I’ve read this, and am actually not as far into the book as I’d like, but the beginning definitely talks about some heavy stuff. I’m honestly surprised I was able to get through this at a younger age now that I truly understand the full idea/meaning/consequence behind every theme presented.

Iren03 Me too! It didn't feel as sad when I read this about a year ago, but I went through it in 2 days and ohhhh I love it so much! I'm so happy to see this as the book of this month! I love love love this book, ahhh.
