In the background is the developing love affair between Eammon and Eleanor who become engaged by the end of the story. Your thoughts?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I always enjoy a secondary romance in my books. Eammon waited around 20 years for Eleanor to start paying attention to him. I'm not sure what suddenly made her change her mind and go to the barn on the pretense of petting the horses. Was it Sam pushing the two together?

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments Not sure, either.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I loved it. I thought it was sweet. With Gavin settling down with Sam, Eleanor was left wondering about the course of her life and Eammon has always been there for her. To bad it took 20 years for them to do anything about it.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments I loved these two. I really like a secondary romance too. I loved how Eammon just waited for her all those years.

I loved this mature adult love story. Yes, Sam was gently nudging them along.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments It was so sweet. It's strange but I preferred the secondary story lines in this book - Eammon and Eleanor, Callum and Alison, and the developments in Liam and Gavin's relationship.

Sam and Gavin's romance was not that satisfying for me because of Sam's deceit.
