I figured that she wouldn't know enough about Alison or her family and would get caught in her lies very quickly. Alison moved when she was 13 years old. There had to be people from that time (Callum) that remembered her and would reminisce about the past. Was she going to plead amnesia?
I thought it was brilliant. Risky, but brilliant. Alison never wanted to return to Scotland. She had a rich fiancé and a good life in America. She just didn't want the property to go to a Mackenzie. Sam needed a quick exit and a hidey hole. Win-Win.
Oh, I thought it was brilliant, too! If not for the Masters brothers, it may have worked permanently. As it was, it worked really well for quite some time. Both Alison and Samantha got what they wanted...for a time.
No, I didn’t see that coming!

I didn't see it coming either. I thought she might pull it off for quite a while since Allison had left at such a young age. Those Masters brothers had to mess things up! But, of course, I thought that she would get caught in her lie since that always happens...
