Samantha makes a split second decision to kill her husband rather than let him kill Alison Ross. What went through your mind at that moment about her relationship with Bennett?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments She just watched him kill an innocent man in their train car and he was ready to kill Alison because she was a witness. I'd say Sam knew that she wouldn't be able to reason with him and she was the only one who could stop him.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I think I was so shocked at the action, I wasn't even thinking yet about their relationship as married couple. If course, later it became clearer.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments She may have been a robber, but she drew the line a cold blooded murder.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments I was really shocked too, Charlene. I didn't think at all about their relationship until later.

In that moment, I knew her feelings for Bennett didn’t run deep. To choose a stranger over her husband in a split second told me a lot about that relationship.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1812 comments I agree, Jonetta.
She didn't even think twice about shooting Bennett. To me, that suggested that what she felt for him was more gratitude for taking her away from the Smiths than love. Also, I think she regretted marrying him as he was a liar, a cheat and a thief (and a murdered as well as she later learned).
