Noel Marchand was diabolical but his brother, Tobias was even more twisted. Do you think it was a mental illness or something else?

Tobias was a total psycho. I don't know what drove him to do the things he did. He had to be crazy.

[Anita]

A real monster. I don't really know what to make of his brutality. I suspect he had a mild Downs Syndrome and he was never disciplined for his violent tendencies, but was allowed to do whatever he wanted without consequences.

From they way he was described, I do think Tobias had a mental illness. I think he got his violent tendencies and his disregard for life from his father and brother. I also don't think he knew his own strength.

[Jonetta]

I though Tobias was criminally insane with mental deficiencies. Maybe in a different family he would have behaved more normally. But in this sick one, he never learned that he shouldn’t kill anyone and no restraints were ever placed...they just cleaned up after him.

Noel was just a straight out psychopath.
